Two Dutch climbers are treated in a North Pakistan hospital after 11 die on the world's second highest mountain K2.

In the worst accident ever on the mountain rescuers managed to save a few members of the stricken climbing parties including the two Dutch men and Italian climber, Marco Confortola.

Among the dead were three Koreans, two Nepalis, two Pakistani high altitude porters, French, Serbian and Norwegian climbers and an Irishman earlier listed as missing.
